DIY Round Coffee Table

How to Transform an Old, Outdated Table into a Farmhouse Style DIY Pedestal Round Coffee Table.

Today I’m sharing the DIY farmhouse pedestal coffee table makeover from the round table we found at the thrift store a few weeks ago. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be our new coffee table. Other than being too tall, it was the perfect size and scale for our living room upstairs. And, I really had my heart set on a round shape to balance out the sharp edges of our sectional.

In honor of #throwback thursday, I thought I’d share our DIY bathroom renovation on a budget from our first home. You’ll have to excuse the terrible pictures and terrible lighting. I had no idea that one day I may actually do the blog that I was picturing in my head, even all those years ago.

I really think the old me would be impressed with the current me. I do wish I could go back in time and tell the old me that cleaning that 1189 square foot home was really no big deal and to stop complaining. Also, to enjoy my Friday nights binge watching Netflix and sleeping in on Saturdays. But, I digress. Back to the matter at hand.

Here’s some before’s to give you an idea of what we were working with.

Coastal Bedroom With a Farmhouse Twist+ 2 Different Designs!

So today I’m so excited to share two mood boards with you that I designed for my coworker, Sam!! Sam is wanting to spruce up her master bedroom and asked me if I wanted to make her a mood board for some inspiration. And… of course I did!

The first thing I did was have her answer some questions for me about her general decorating style and what she was envisioning for her space. She loves coastal style and wanted a laid back, beachy feel for her bedroom. And, she loves farmhouse. This was so much fun for me to mix these two styles and create a custom coastal farmhouse master bedroom mood board for her!

One of the questions she answered for me before we got started was the price range of what she wanted to spend on this project. I needed to have a ballpark figure before I started searching for things to fill her room. I love the added challenge of finding things that not only creates the look she wants but also finding things that fit in a certain price range.

Accent Tile For Shower: 3 Options that Work Well With Subway Tiles

*Yawn*

Time to get back at it. The Mondays after a Sunday are always the hardest! Haha, just kidding. But for real, Mondays after a holiday weekend are hard. So to pep myself up I’m gonna share with you my inspiration/ mood board for my future small master bathroom renovation in keeping with “Moody Mondays”.

And please bear with me and give me a little grace. I use the word “future” loosely. We may be really with it and get it done in the next month. Or maybe in the next year. More than likely the next decade. But, it is on the list and I want to share my plans with you. And although I’ve had these plans for almost 2 years, there’s something about putting it out there that will hopefully hold me accountable and make it happen sooner!

I can’t be the only one who makes all these plans while I’m at work only to come home and think, “What was I thinking? I’m gonna tile a bathroom tonight?? Yeah, right. It’s all I can do to make sure the kids survive and get fed and bathed and stuff.”
