Hobby Lobby Fall Decor 2019- A Mood Board of My Favorites! Plus all under $30!

So, a few weeks ago I shared some of my favorites from Kirkland’s fall collection. I thought this week I’d switch it up and share all of the some of the stuff I’m loving from Hobby Lobby!

This store is so overwhelming to me. I cannot be alone in this. I have all these ideas for what I’m looking for and so I load up in the car and drive to Hobby Lobby. I park the car, walk through those two sets of doors, grab my little blue cart, and completely lose all rational thought.

Maybe it’s the overwhelm of so many beautiful things that causes my mind to start going in a million directions? Most likely. It’s probably a lot like the saying “a kid in a toy store”, except there are no more brick and mortar toy stores. And so kids don’t know what that feels like anymore. I guess we’ll have to change the saying to “a kid in the toy section at Target.” Or maybe that saying was “a kid in a candy store”?

Anyhoo, I digress. Back to the matter at hand. Focus, Lauren.

The moral of this story is, I can’t just walk into Hobby Lobby without a game plan. I have to have a strict list in my mind of what I need in my house at the time and what I need to purchase to accomplish it. No veering off course or getting distracted.

And that’s also why I love these mood boards. I get to “browse the aisles” in the comfort of my own home and put them together to see if I like the way they look. And instead of coming home with things that didn’t work and then subsequently have to be returned, I can just find something else to replace it with from my couch.

Then, I can actually go to the store knowing exactly what I want or need which simplifies things so much. Or, I can just order online. Either way it makes life easier.

Hobby Lobby Fall 2019 Wish List

Here’s what spoke to me the most. It all looks cozy, comfy, farmhouse-y. It embodies what I love most about fall. Wanting to snuggle up by the fire and read a book. The smell of a pumpkin scented candle. A pot of chili simmering on the stove.

And, just the time of year where we all slow down a little. Think about all the blessings in our lives that we are so truly thankful for.

I love all the natural and rustic elements of these items. And I’ve been really into stripes lately so of course I loved the sign and pillow. I will probably be purchasing these for my home:)

And I think those pumpkins would look great in a pair of hurricane vases or grouped together in a basket for a simple centerpiece. When decorating for the holidays, I try to stay away from a lot of trendy pieces. I want to be able to get the most money from my purchases and be able to use them for years to come. The fall garland, (which I’d love to put above the mirror in my foyer or on top of the china cabinet in the dining room), and pumpkins are classic enough they’ll never go out of style.

That being said, though, the cute red truck dish and tobacco basket are cheap enough that I could afford to invest in a few fun, trendy pieces.
